Kolombo in Auckland

"We got takeaway fried rice, kothu and deviled chicken and everything was excellent. Quality and portion size is probably the best in Auckland. Only a handful of places in Auckland that feeds 4x adults with one large portion. Staff were friendly and happy to kindly explain food types, sizes and more than accommodating to make the food with low spice levels. Will continue to support the restaurant if they continue to maintain quality and prices. All the best to Kolombo staff and ownership."

"We ordered Sri Lankan food from Kolombo while we were on port in Auckland, and it was absolutely hot, tasty, and delicious! The flavours were rich and authentic, just like back home. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone made us feel right at home with their friendly attitude. Totally recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Sri Lankan food in Auckland. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re here!"

"We had the Valentine’s Day special meal today and absolutely loved it. The Kottu was perfectly done and the Faluda was just as delicious. We also tried the weekend lunch menu — highly recommend the pork curry. The portion was very generous, so much so that we had to take some home We left with full stomachs and happy faces. "This place is amazing. We went there tonight and we were blown away. We ordered a bunch of things, myself the Rotti Chicken Kuttu, fish bun and dessert. My partner also got a selection of Vegetarian curries. The portion size was massive for great value, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and kind. If you haven’t tried Siri Lankan food, or you have and are looking to scratch that itch again, I would highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a great place to go out for dinner, this is the place, I will be back!"
